Rachel's Story
We were telling high school tales at work the other day (mostly the tales I am hoping my children never hear...) It was a lively conversation, but it made me sad. I haven't stayed in touch with anyone from our class. I suppose it isn't a surprise that I am out of the Murphy loop. I live in New England and I haven't been to Mobile in years(my bi-annual trips South have been to my grandmother's in Mississippi.) I would like know how folks are doing though, so please take this as an open invitation to swap a card or two.

fter a year, I had loads of stress-related illnesses and I decided my life expectancy would improve if I found a different job. I landed at the Vineyard Gazette, a small newspaper on a Massachusetts island, and fell in love with rural New England island life. These days I make my living as a title examiner (i.e. specialized researcher.) I have 3 kids. My eldest is almost 13, my middle child is 8 and my youngest is 3. My husband can pretty much do anything, including play the bagpipes. My house is full of books.
So that is the condensed version of my last 21 years. And what about you?
