Barbara's Story
Life
Since leaving BHS, I graduated from UCLA, married Kosta Radisavljevic, got a teaching credential in English at Cal. State Long Beach, as it was then known, taught a couple of years at Long Beach Poly and Jordan, and then decided to move into private schools for a few more years. When I quit to start a family and it didnÂt happen as planned, I became a buyer at Logos of Westwood (a Christian bookstore near UCLA) for nine years, which I really enjoyed, and I stayed there for nine years until I left to become the first manager of Robbie's Hallmark in the Oaks Mall in Thousand Oaks. empleton in San Luis Obispo County at the beginning of 1993. In 1992 I opened a bookselling business, Barb's People Builders, for educators, mostly home schoolers at first, which has since expanded into an international internet business for all educators and families who enjoy good reading.. It would be nice to have leisure time once in a while, but that doesn't come with being a one-woman internet business. I take Sundays off for church, rest, and family. When I do have leisure, I generally read, go for walks, talk to my husband and friends, or write email letters to friends. I also read and post on bookselling and homeschool lists and forums. I'd love to hear from some of you again, too.
