Raidena's Story
I moved to California in late 1962. I met and married my husband Jerry in 1963 (deceased 2006) and we were married almost 44 yrs. I have 2 sons ages 39 and 36. I worked for the St of CA for 38 1/2 yrs and retired in 2003.
I would like to hear from some of my old classmates, whom I hope will remember me as a quiet, and respected person. I would like to hear about one of my old neighbors, Bob Kershaw. He graduated 1 year before me I think.
Jerry and I were married in Arcata, CA. We lived in that area for 2 years and then moved to Sacramento in 1965, to be closer to Jerry's family.
I went to work for the State of California, DMV, in 1966. Our oldest son, Chris, was born in 1970 and our younger son Kevin was born in 1973.

ue and school sports for many years. We worked in snack bars and bingo halls for what seems like decades. It was actually for about 15 years.
In addition to my children, I have 2 grandchildren, 1 girl and 1 boy, ages 6 and 12 respetively. She is in 1st grade and he is in 7th. I know that I am prejudiced but I think they are both really nice looking kids. And fortunately they are both well-behaved and respectful,thank goodness.
I visit with and play games with my friends, with the favorites being a dice game called 10,000 (or Farkle) and a domino game called Mexican train. I also love to play scrabble. I love to shop, thrift stores and flea markets being my stores of choice. I am also a Super Walmart shopper as are most people, at least the ones that I know.
