Married in 1993. Started my own software/IT consulting company in 1996. Divorced. Burnt out on IT in 2002 so taught English overseas for a year or so. Got back into software consulting and then Organizational Transformation work in Asia Pacific for about ten years. Was back in Virginia during 2018. Now living in Berlin, Germany (since Fall 2019). Can COVID please go away?
Into biking/hiking. Did the Bike the Bay 150 mile bike ride in 1999. Twice completed the round-trip W&OD trail between Georgetown and Harper's Ferry...Expand for more
(120 miles). Climbed Mt. Chimborazo (Ecuador) to 18,500 feet in Spring 2000. Cotopaxi to summit (19,500 feet) in September 2001. Kings peak (highest in Utah) in August 2003. Summitted Mount Whitney (highest in lower 48) in September 2005. Other mountain summits include Kinabalu (Malaysia), Kerenci (Indonesia), Mount Kenya, and China's Hua Shan, Yellow Mountain, and Emei Shan. Did Rim-to-Rim Grand Canyon hike (24 miles) in 2019.
Love travelling. Like all sorts of music. Slowly learning to play guitar. I can speak Mandarin Chinese :-p
