Ralph's Story
Hello fellow classmates, this is Ralph. Yes I am still on this side of the grass, just in case anyone is thinking about me, than you for remembering me. Have been retired for eleven years now. Retired from N.Y.S. Corrections department as a Certified Master Chef Instructor. Still living near good ol Schenectady, divorced and remarried, totally happy with life. Into old cars and have two in the garage, both total restorations and one has been published in Hemmings Motor News, Classic cars magazine in 2010 and 2014 on Hemmings classic car calander and in their monthly magazine , 2014. For you old car buffs reading this or those who know nothing about old iron, Hemmings is a world class publication, all about cars and other vehicles. horse power V-8. Painted in actual color of Grendier Red with a gold convertible top, no gas sipping here. The other is a calander car, it has appeared on the 2010 N.A.P.A. and 2015 G.M. Classic car calanders. This car has been in the garage for twenty six years, (kinda stuck to my ribs). This car is a 1957 Chevrolet , Nomad Wagon with the original 283 cubic inch, 190 horse power engine with 67,000 actual miles. Painted the actual colors of Canyon Coryl/India Ivory, only 6,103 Nomads were produced in 1957. My wife and I were actually brought together by the love for old iron. She loves them, so this makes my hobby easy. We are empty nesters with no known grandchildren. Would like to get together with other guys I know so give me a shout out, maybe we can pull something together one of these days. That's all for now--cat
