Life
Update 3/07: Consulting business is going very well at this time. Have immediate plans to add teaching/instruction service. Will be offering "Shop" Math and Blueprint Reading intitially. Then plan to add courses for Manufacturing Language, Manual Milling, Manual Lathes, CNC Mills, CNC Lathes, CNC Mill Programming, CNC Lathe Programming, Metrology, Quality Procedures, Machinist's Handbook, and Metalurgy. Living in Dallas, Texas. Planning on stay here for at least 11 (now 9) more years (until the youngest get off to college). Working in manufacturing. Specifically CNC machining. Married. 4 step children ages 7 to 23 (plus 2 step kids from previous marriage). Trying to get a consulting business off the ground (kirkcon.com). Working on patent for new tool design for automotive industry. Also designing an electric vehicle conversion system (still 3 to 5 years out).
