Ralph Christensen:  

Married Ramona Fountain in September 1966. She has not killed me yet so we have been married for over 42 years as of this date, May 19, 2009 (though I keep my life insurance low, as a life insurance policy). We have three daughters; the closest is living in the Chicago area (apparent high skill in parenting keeps them that close). Unfortunately, for Ramona and I that also means our 7 grandchildren are scattered across the midwest and east coast. A painful expereince to know they are growing up without a really good spoiling. Have lived in the area ever since high school, maybe because of low imagination. I have many interests but too little time to do more than a few of them. I am a consulting geologist. I have started working less and enjoying more, and if I am not careful I will start to enjoy it fully by not showing up anymore. However, I am so important to my company it would probably take them a couple of months to notice I wasn't there and fire me. I have become serious about God over the decades, but seriously, you do not need to panic I won't attack you. I was at a class "get-together" started by Donna Hill, and others I presume, on May 16, 2009. It was great fun just to see and talk with some 18 classmates and catch up on each other. Those of you that weren't able to be there, I am sorry you couldn't make it, because we all would have loved to say hello, and work our way through that awkward thing where you know perfectly well who this person is, remember several great stories about them from high school, but their name just will not rise to the top.
