Ramon's Story
Hello! I'm assuming that if you're reading this, we've shared some high school years together.
Well, here's the skinny on me since high school graduation... I spent my first two years of college at Lewis and Clark College in Portland, decided I didn't like it and transferred to Western Oregon University, where I graduated with a BA in Int'l Studies in June 1995. A month after graduation, I took an English teaching assignment in Hokkaido, Japan. I spent 3 years there and left in July 1998. I then moved back to my native Saipan, CNMI. I have lived in Saipan for the last 10 years. I met my wife here in Saipan, and we've been married for 5 years. irst home here in Saipan in 2003, months before Dylan was born. I work for the CNMI Public School System as the Director of Human Resources. Yep, HR is my career and I love it! My wife is an analyst for the Office of the Public Auditor, so I definitely need to cross all my t's and dot all my i's so I don't get in trouble with her office! I also began work on a Master's degree in Education with an emphasis on Evaluation. My degree completion date will be May 2009. After that goal is attained, I'll turn my attention to getting my SPHR certification.
Living overseas since 1995 has been fun, challenging and rewarding. One of these days, perhaps sooner than I think, we just may take the leap of faith and return to the beautiful Northwest.
I appreciate your visit to my page and pray life has been just as kind to you as it's been for me.
All the best,
Ramon.
