Ramona's Story

I retired in June, 2011 after 36 years at Churchville Middle School in Elmhurst, Il, where I was a math teacher, English teacher, and, for the last 31 years, a guidance counselor. I have been married for 30 years to my husband Gary, who taught at Sandburg Middle School in Elmhurst and retired in 2010 after teaching special education for 34 years. We have two children. gan is an occupational therapist and is married to US Army Captain Joseph Doyle. They are currently stationed in El Paso Texas, at Fort Bliss. They have one son, James. Our son Ryan works at Schaumburg Airport and is in the process of obtaining his charter pilot license. I am currently tutoring math privately and am volunteering at College of DuPage in the GED prep program.
