Randall's Story

So here goes...in a nutshell, I got married at 21, had a little girl at 22, divorced at 27, got custody at 29. Raised Holly mostly by myself for about 7 years, so I made sure she learned all the right things, like how to make dovetail, dado joints, proper offroad riding techniques , etc. Fortunately for her (and me) I remarried at 36. Judy, my wife, has a son (Terry)and daughter (Stacey). Our family ,even tho it started seperately, feels like its always been .And its been great....,especially the last few years. Terry is a Master electrician and works for Kee electric in Whitehouse. He is divorced now for about 4 years, but has really overcome alot and is doing good. His daughters names are Kaleigh and Kylee. Stacey is living in Mt Pleasant and her daughters name is Katelyn, sons name is Seth. Stacey is about to complete the RN nursing prgram there. Her husband works at TU electric at the power plant there. It turned out Holly had a really good voice and went to state 2 years at Robert E Lee, which brought a scholarship to Wheaton College In CHicago. Where she proceeded to make my worst fear realized....she graduated and MARRIED and settled down there. Now I have a grandson ,Avery, and granddaughter,Helena, 1000 miles away. To read more about them go to hollyrhea dot com Fortunately, with Stacey and Terry living fairly close...we get almost enough grandkid time. That makes 6 grandkids...at 50 .....crap what happened? How did time pass so quickly? But, I feel blessed and am proud of my family. When I was trying to c...Expand for more
ome up with a way to make a living, my feeble mind said...hey ! why not go into the HVAC bidness! That way I can be cool all the time!....shoot, I got this figured out. I didnt think it thru very far,evidently...cuz when its cool, its time for me to leave.I worked for Arkansas Mechanical and Berg Service for the first 14-15 years, and have owned Air-Tech service since '92. Mostly do Industrial commercial A/C and refrigeration...but some residential. Oh yeah I just remembered, I installed the walk-in coolers/freezers at the old high school/elementary a few years ago.....talk about bringing back memories.Anyway it has made me a living so not all is bad...but at 50, its gettin harder to get on them dang roofs. Still dirtbike riding, and am vice president of ETDR (east texas dirtbike riders association) and still getting hurt doing it...but love it. We go to colorado, arizona tennessee, etc to ride some beautiful countryside. Also, do some streetbike riding, and love to take Judy down to the hillcountry to ride. Judy loves to ride and actually try'd to ride her own bike for awhile, but never really felt comfortable doing it...so she just likes to hang on now. Oh, BTW, Judy works at Carrier and has worked with some of our old classmates, Wayne Elwood, Matthew Harrel and a couple of others too...I think anyways. Also, I really enjoy doing woodworking as a hobby . Been doing it now for almost 30 years.... I really feel ashamed for making sport of T.L. Arthur now... Anyways, thats some of my story, gotta go to work, take care
