1966. That was my last year in High School as Mr. Barnes thought it best I left Bartlett, never to return. Upon my expelling, a life of adventure truly began. At first, I was not sure what to do but I soon discovered the freedom of leaving home, never to return. I made my own way although it was a Rocky Road. I hitch-hiked to Florida's Sarasota Area, even landed a job as a Plumbers helper/Plumber. Made great money but the Geriatrics in Florida made it such a dull place, I could not stand the excitement. Made my way back to Memphis on a Train, I even had money to burn but I was still a HS Drop Out...
