Randy's Story
After graduation went to NC State for 1 year. Family moved to Tacoma Washington, I completed my degree (BS Industrial Engineering) at the University of Washingtom. Accepted a job at the Square D Company in Kentucky and stayed for 31 years. Last position was Engineering Manager. Job took me across the globe Canada, Mexico, France, Germany, and England. I was diagnosed with Pulmonary Fibrosis in 2005. I required a bilateral lung transplant in 2010. Am currently recovering from that. What a journey life is! My greatest accomplishment was finding my wife Damita. We have been married for 29 years. She has been my guardian angel. We have two children, Cody (23) and Sumner (19). Cody is an Aerospace Engineer and Sumner has started his first year at Eastern Kentucky University. The unique thing about our family is everyone's birthday is in September.
In my experiance, life takes many twists and turns. Enjoy every day and treat it as a bonus day! One never knows how many ticks are left on the clock.
