Diana's Story
Life
My life is about work baseball and sleep right now but I realized that I need to change that up a little bit. I have two kids, a 19 year old daughter who is away at college and a 18 year old son who is a senior in High School. He plays varsity baseball so that's why I can be found sitting in the bleachers somewhere when I'm not at work.
School
Even though I had some good times in school, I really regret not being more involved. Why did I think it was so cool not to have any "bogus" activities and clubs beside my name? Rebel without a clue, I guess. And my daughter carried on the tradition when she graduated from high school. funny when I look at her, I see myself at that age, she hates to hear that but it's true. I was so passionate about not selling out and not being a fake or whatever the word was then. Now I think why didn't I work on the newspaper or get involved in theater, I love to write and have written notes for a screenplay for many years now. well maybe I'm just a late bloomer
Workplace

essional and that's where I am today. I started as a compensation analyst but now I'm a generalist and have a great job. My job is different every day which is what I love about it. I get to write, take photos, make videos and plan fun activities but the best thing I do is support our employees. We have been through many illnesses, deaths, and even hurricanes this year and I'm so grateful that I have been able to help the employees and their familes by filing claims, setting up counseling, fundraising and many other things. It's very rewarding and I'm lucky to work with such a great group of people.
Military
I've never served in the Military and didn't really appreciate much about serving our country until I was in charge of putting together a reception for our Veterans at my hospital. That's where I learned how valuable those individuals are who served our country whether they agreed with the political reasons for war. Every year I plan this small reception and it is one of the most rewarding things I have ever done--simple but greatly appreciated and I love to honor them every year.
