Randy's Story
Hi everyone! In case you barely remember me (and I'm stuggling to remember names and faces) I spent my junior and senior year at Pearce HS, after moving to Texas from Indiana. I wrestled and ran track and cross country both years. And, i was never very good at any of those activities. I do remember how people were friendly to me in classes and in the hallways, and I look back on my time there as having a few good friends and alot of good times and activities. I think my best friend was a guy named Blair Monholland. I mostly remember the pretty girls and football jocks and how we sucked at football during those years. Ha.
Since then, I went to Stephen F. Austin for three years and then got busy getting married and having kids. I never finished my degree. I really regret that. ...Expand for more
However, I got into the oil industry and started fabricating diamond drill bits. I worked many hours when I was younger and my family suffered because of that. We went through a few hard times, but came through intact. I'm still married to my sweetheart of 34 years. Her name is Becky and she was a graduate of Bernker HS in the class of 76. I have 4 boys, all of whom are out on their own and doing well. I have one new grandbaby boy named Isaac. What a treat! We all live in the Houston area and are doing well. I'm still in the oil industry doing a desk job and keeping all of the younger people in line.
Anyway, that's my story. I still occasionally think of my time there in Richardson and I still visit my younger sister in the area from time to time. Let me know how you're doing!
