Randy's Story
Well it's been a journey ... Back in the late 60's things got a little crazy for me. Running with the boys always seemed to land me in a lot of trouble. In my junior year after I got into some trouble for inciting a riot (really wasn't my fault I just got caught)I figured out that BH was going top be the3 death of me if I stayed. Sooooo in Sept of 1970 I sarted talking with an Army recruiter, by Oct I had made my mind up that my best shot at anything half way sucessful was going to involve getting out of there and the Army sounded like an adventure. 2 weeks before my 1...Expand for more
7th birthday I was bussed to Detroit for a physical, and the night before my 17th B-Day I was sent back to the same facility. When I woke up the next morning that was the begining of what was going to be a very interesting 8 year stint working on and flying on helicopters. I was a very good fit for the military and had I been able to keep flying i would have been a "Lifer".
