Randy's Story
Life
After graduating from Beaumont High School in 1973 I attended the University of Missouri at St Louis while interning in the corporate office of the May Department Stores Company. I graduated from UM St Louis in May of 1997 with a major in Accounting. I accepted the May CompanyÂs employment offer and started his professional career in May 1977 as a staff accountant. My career with May spanned 23 years and sent me to assignments in St Louis (three times), Los Angeles, CA, Norwalk CT, New York City and Denver, Colorado. I recently retired from Dollar General and I currently own a small construction debris hauling company in South Florida. I am a Certified Public Accountant and have won numerous Community and Professional awards. I am also very active in the community. I currently serve as chairman of the Finance Committee of Inroads Inc and I am on the board of the Mathews Dickey Boys and Girls Club. I have been married 19 years to my wife Toni and we have one son Derek.
