Randy's Story
Life
I've been married for nearly 30 years to a wonderful woman, Karen. We have five kids (we adopted two). We have lived all over the west and currently live in Hawaii. A long way from little Sweet Home. I'm still into sports (I did cross country and track in school.) I now do bicycling, swimming and running -- yes I'm training for some triathlons and maybe even the Ironman (held here in our town).
We've raised and trained dogs, have lived on a ranch and raised and trained horses and raised, but not trained, cattle. I am currently design editor for a newspaper and a freelance graphic artist/photographer. I was a photojournalist for 16 years, photographing celebraties, politicians and athletes for wire services and local newspapers.

ntly got married and our youngest son is a U.S. Marine. Our middle son lives in Portland and our other two kids live here on the island with us. Our youngest daughter married a soldier and they are stationed on Oahu, about 160 miles away (all ocean).
It's been years since I've been back to Sweet Home, but when I was it had changed so much. Now I check out the New Era newspaper online every week just to see what's going on.
School
My fav teacher was Mr. Miner, also my cross country coach. He taught me the most. I still apply what I learned from him as a teacher and coach and think of him often.
Best friend was Brian Randall. Where are you buddy? Just heard another one of my buddies passed away--Steve Frentress!
