Randy's Story
Life
Married to Jodi who is a pro photographer since 1998. Son who is four with another son due soon. Five dogs - three in, two out.
I work to pay the bills and enjoy my time off. It took a long time to figure that out. Work is just boring, but I get to see a lot and work with a great bunch of people.
I live where I always wanted to be like I always wanted to. I'm still amazed at that. It took and takes sacrafices to get here.
My best days are spending time with my family, preferably by the pool. In the winter, I dream of spending time by the pool with the family.
Hunt way too much, says the wife. It's what I like. If you raided the mailbox you'd discover that. Anything else that takes me outside I like or I'll try.
Read so much that I'm worried about going blind. Have favorite authors, but I'll read just about anything. I can tell you, don't bother wit...Expand for more
h "The Secret."
My politics are something altogether. I won't even say where I stand on issues here. I'll just say that I'm a fence sitter.
I'm still addicted to physical risk, but my family solves that. I really calculate everything before I do something stupid. This means that I never do anything stupid, right? I don't even get on a motorcycle anymore.
I volunteer. Do you? Why not? I make time. So should you. My volunteering with our local fire department is my biggest source of physical risk (see above), so it's my crack. I still don't do it as much as I'd like.
I lived in a third-world country for almost two years. I can't believe that, but it was for a job and good money. Travel to third-world countries. It'll broaden your scope and change your views. I did learn that the U.N. is a sham.
As Forrest Gump said, "That's all I have to say about that."
