Raphael's Story
Moved to North Carolina two weeks following graduation from the Valley in 1963.
Attended the University of Louisville for one year------Had a great time----then transferred to UNC-Chapel Hill and obtained a Business degree from UNC. Have been a loyal and avid Tarheel fan ever since------attending several football and basketball games every year.
Married in 1966 and two terrific boys came out of that union. Divorced in 1978 and was a single Dad----with custody of Kurt and Eric. Remarried in 1985 a...Expand for more
nd Sanny and I have been together going on 29 years. Between us we have 5 children and 10 grandchildren----and we thoroughly enjoy our time with them.
Was in the insurance brokerage business for most of my career and retired in 2001.
We live in beautiful Asheville,NC in the BlueRidge mountains of North Carolina and spend approx. 3 months per year at Hilton Head Island,SC.
Life is great-----Have traveled a good deal over the years and plan to do a bit more of that.
