Tina's Story
Life:
I meet my husband when I was station at Kadena AB, Okinawa. After a year of dating we got marry there.
My Pets:
We have two dogs that are our kids. We have a 4 1/2 year old Chow (Chrissy) and a 9 month old Samoyed (Samantha).
Military:
I enlisted in the U. S. Air Force right after graduation from high school, in 1973.
After Basic Training at Lackland AFB. TX, I trained to be an Aircraft Crew Chief at Chanute AFB, Ill. I graduated from Technical School and headed for my first assignment.
After Tech School I served at Plattsbugh AFB, NY (73-75), Eielson AFB, AK (75-76), Ellsworth AFB, S. Dak,(76-80), Galena AFS, AK (80-81), Eielson AFB,...Expand for more

I had many Temporary Duty (TDY) assignments to Alaska, Guam, Okinawa, Hawaii, Thailand, South Korea, England, Spain and numerous bases in the United States.
College:
While I was in the Air Force I work on and recieved a Associate degree in Air craft Maintance thru the Air Force Community College. After I retired from the Air Force I return to the University of Alaska-Fairbanks in 1998. I spent the next 5 1/2 years working on and recieving my BA in History and BS in Archaeology.
