Life I graduated Upland High in 1964 & attended Chaffey College for a time. I was drafted into the U.S. Army in 1966. I became a member of the 1st Cavalry Division & went to Vietnam. Hollywood made a movie of my unit("We Were Soldiers"). I came home from the war feeling empty & hurting for those who never came back. I began soul searching & in 1973, I had a genuine encounter with God that changed my life. I found Jesus Christ as my Savior! He healed my heart & gave me the peace I was looking for. I began reading the Bible & became involved with Christian ministry. God led me to become a pastor & in 1978, I went full time into the ministry. I have done missionary work by going to other countries( I have gone to India 4 times & into Mexico many times ). My main involvement is being the senior pastor of the The Rock Christian Church in Fontana, California. I find serving God with my wife of 36 years the greatest fulfillment of my entire life. Military I served for 2 years in the U.S. Army from March of 1966 to March of 1968. In 1966 I became a member of the 1st Cavalry Division & was sent to serve in the Vietnam War.
