Ray's Story
Graduated from PLU in 1969 with a business degree. Worked shortly at Puget Sound Bank right after graduation. I received a offer from Fred Meyer in Salem , Oregon to work in their management trainee program. Moved to Oregon in 1972 and spent the next 23 years working at Fred Meyer , Transamerica Title, Sublimity Insurance Company, and State Farm Insurance. m in 2008. Since then we have purchased a home in Eloy, Arizona and a condo in Vancouver , Washington. We have become snowbirds. In addition we still maintain our cabin that I built in Northwoods near Mt. St. Helens on Swift Creek Reservior during the summers as well. I stay active playing Senior softball almost year round now that we live in Arizona in the winter. My wife Irene, and I love to travel and see new sights plus we enjoy taking the grandkids to Disney and Hawaii.
