Family: I was married to a woman from 1974 to 1986, with whom I had 3 children, Greg (35), Kelly (31) & Randy (28). Kelly is the only one who is married. None have had or wants kids. They all live in the Portland Oregon area. I then married my current wife, Pam in 1996. She has two daughters who both are married with two sons each. One lives in the Portland area with sons (1 & 3). The other lives in the Bend Oregon area with sons (12 & 14). Work & School: I spent 4 years in the Navy (68-72). Then 4 years at TG&E. Moved to Portland Oregon in 1976. Got a 2 year degree from Mt. Hood CC. Worked 4 years at NCR Corp as a customer service rep. Then 10 years at FPS Computing as a test engineer. Then another 10 years at Intel as a design engineer. All this time I continued to take classes. Winding down: In September of 2000 I got a sabbatical from Intel. Pam and I had a little motor home at the time and we traveled for 6 weeks. During those travels I discovered that I did not like working as much as I had thought that I did. I also got 2 of the best pieces of advice that I have ever gotten. The first came from my brother (a senior VP at AG Edwards) and that was to get out of the stock market.
