Ray's Story

After graduating from the UW in 1972 with a Civil Engineering degree, I took a job at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency in Seattle. After a 34 year career at the EPA as an Environmental Scientist specializing in data analysis, computer programming, and gis mapping of water and air quality modeling results. I retired in 2004 Seattle. My wife Avis and I have moved in 2006 from Monroe WA where I lived from 1972, to my our favorite place... Winthrop WA in the Methow...Expand for more
Valley. We have built our retirement house on 10 irrigated acres, moved the mtn bikes, and hot tub over... bought a snow blower, x-cntry skis, snow shoes, and light weight backpacking gear... and are now really enjoying retirement! We have also added a large garden, chickens, and a couple of bee hives. Grandkids also love the Winthrop/Methow Valley area... :-) You can email me as pasayten at yahoo dot com if you wish.
