Raymond's Story

Life My wife (Anneliese) and I met in Jr.High School, at Bainbridge Central High School, through the music program and started going together in our senior year-{Nov 1995} (1956). We were married on 7/14/1962 (Bastliie Day) in St Peters Episcopal Church in Bainbridge, NY. Our anniversary this year will be our fiftieth My Kids Our son (Ray) is 51 years old (in 2016), has three children (Katie 24 on 7/02/2016, Kurt 23 on 8/28/2016, Kendra, 21 on 9/14/2016), drives tractor trailer for FedEx Freight, and lives about 6 miles from us. Our daughter Eliese is 47 (in 2016), is gay and lives with her spouse in Bozeman, MT. They had a marriage ceremony in June of 1998. She has a little girl (Annalise, turned 9 on 8/6/2016). A little boy (William[Liam] turned 7 on 11/20/2016). The children are true brother and sister as the same donor was used for both. Eliese and Jeannie Little were legally married in NY State on Christmas Eve Day 2011. My Job I worked for IBM in Endicott, NY for just over 29 years, retiring on July 30, 1993 at the age of 55. ust before I retired, Anneliese and I took a long dreamed of trip to Hawaii for a month (June 29 thru July 27). When we returned I had two days to go before I retired. I left IBM on July 29, right after we turned in our badges and received our parting gift of a 'Cross' gold pen and pencil set. The day before, Anneliese and I, along with the other retiree's, were treated to a marvelous Surf & Turf Dinner. A little over three years later I was a part-time sales associate for Sears Hardware. Our store closed Oct. 30,2005. I worked there the whole time it was open. Actually I helped set up the store, working there for a month before the store opened. I was there from the beginning through the day we closed. I'm still waiting to hear from the Mall Store In Johnson City, NY. Only need to work another year to retire from Sears. Update - I was hired at the Sears Mall Store around the first week of March 2006. I was there about 7.5 weeks when I said to myself, "I don't need this c--p, I'm supposed to be retired." So I gave a weeks notice and left.
