My Spouse
We married in 1968 and Penny retired from retail furniture sales management in 1992.
My Kids
Our son is a computer graphics specialist/designer for a small civil engineering firm start-up.
My Job
Retired from USMC in 1992 (~28 yrs) as a Major. Retired from a subsequent civilian Telecommunications & Info Engineering position in 2012 (~20 yrs) and stopped consulting in 2015. d periodic combat & operational deployments in data systems/telecommunications positions such as Computer Engineer, C4I Systems Engineer, & Telecommunications Engineer as a member of various USMC, Joint, and Intelligence Community entities. Two Vietnam infantry combat tours: ('65-'66) as a LCpl thru Sgt & ('70-'71) as a SSgt. Routine deployments, etc. until 15 August 1990 found me in SWA as a member of the USCENTCOM HQ Advance Party from the beginning to end of Desert Shield & Desert Storm for my final combat tour prior to retirement. Called back to USCENTCOM from Sep-Dec 2001 where I served as a non-deployed Telecommunications Engineer. in support of post 9/11 special operations units in Afghanistan.
