Raymond's Story
Life
SCHS class of 67. Graduated from Purdue University (BS and MS, 1972) and California Institute of Technology (PhD, 1975) in Aeronautical Engineering. Joined McDonnell Douglas (now Boeing) in 1975, in St. Louis MO. Married in 1979 to Mary Stuesse, in St. Louis. Two kids - Linda (b. 1986) and Sam (b. 1989). r Technical Fellow at Boeing (St. Louis), since 1997. That is the top technical rank at Boeing - there are 46 people (out of 50,000 scientists and engineers) in the Corporation at that level. I am leading the technology planning process on the defense and space side of Boeing. Selected as Purdue's "Distinguished Engineering Alumnus" in 2015. Retired from Boeing in March 2015 after 40+ years.
