Raymond's Story
Well her goes: Enlisted in the Air Force in my Senior Year and left for basic in Oct 67, tours were in Lackland AFB, Texas, Wright-Patterson AFB< Ohio, TanSonKnut, VietNam, Udor RTAFB, Thialand, Homestead AFB, Florida, Clear Air Force Station, Alaska, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio, and finally Minneapolis AFB, Minnesota. Received the Permanent Rank of Master Sergeant with 24 years Active Service. Retired here in Minnesota where I bought 60 acres of Farm Land to Rest these wiery bones.
Married three times, First to Patricia(Cwalinski), we have three daughters who has give me several grandchildren and one greatgrandchild, Second Wife was a rebound where we don't go and my third wife I met in l983 in Ohio, we were married on Sept 23, 1983, we have two sons, Ray Jr and Stan (The Man) they are 24 and 25 both single, Ray just announced his engagement on Thanksgiving to us with a planned marriage in Sept 09.
I have my own business which I started doing back in l971 as a Taxidermist, part-time until I retired in 1990 and then went full time. Good business, something I love. I have always l...Expand for more
oved animals, wish it could have been a Vetinarian but pretty close, still take care of them and like to think I bring them back to life. Could never do what the Lord did but I try with his blessings.
Miss Scranton and haven't been home since 1999, went home for my 50th birthday and had a nice family reunion, seen my lovely girls for the first time in many years, burnt some bridges and hopefully got closer, however, haven't heard from them since then, not that I haven't tried.
I also enjoy Hunting, listening to country, oldies and classic music, paint when I can and try to pass on love to everyone I meet. Life is too short to dwell on the problems.
I developed melonoma but so far five years no more has been found, being treated presently for some problems encountered with the war and friends I lost over the years. But otherwise, healthy as a bull.
Want to go to the next reunion if the good Lord allows. Would love to see some of my classmates. Was quiet in school until my senior year and I believe do to Patsy my world opened up.
