Raymond's Story

After Graduation I started working full time for an Insurance Company. I remained very good friends with Don Carey and as a result met my wife when he asked me to be an usher in his bridal party. I got engaged in Sept. 1960 and married in June 1961. We have 4 grown children. Karen 50, Doreen 47, Tom 42 and Jay 417. Thanks to them we have 7 grandchildren. They range in age from 22 to 9. My job transferred me to an office on Long Island and then to Rolling Meadows, IL, Houston, TX and then to Plano, TX wh...Expand for more
ere we have lived for the last 24 years. Our oldest daughter resides in Ga but the other three are all here in TX near us. About six years ago I was able to contact Jimmy Brennan, Tony Manzo, Joe Mariano and George Cappolo. Hope to hear from some of the rest of you. 2010 Our classmate Donald Carey passed away. 2011 We celebrated of 50th wedding anniversary on June 17th 2012 On Feb. 11, the Bishop of Dallas, Kevin Farrell, awarded me a medal for service to the church Take care and God bless all of you Ray

As of this morning there is no change in Marilyn's condition at all!  She is still in her own little world!
When I left the hospital this afternoon the were taking Marilyn down for another CT scan.  After that they were going to hook her up a a machine to monitor  her brain for 24 hours to see if she is experiencing and brain pro
Undate.  I received a call this morning from the hospital asking for permission to reverse the surgery on Saturday.  Her brain was swelling again and they felt that removing the bone flap my be the answer.  Needless to say
Update:  There is no change since yesterday.  Everything remains status quo.  Please continue the prayers.  She is not out of the woods by any means!
Update: She remains comatose however all the drains have been removed. Her eyes are now functioning correctly although she has yet to open them.and she is breathing on her own. We have to pray for her to wake up before anyo
Update:  Marilyn remains in her own little world.  No real changes.  They are performimg another MRI today or tomorrow and they added something to her feeding tube that is supposed o make her more energetic however it will
UPDATE:  The eeg they performed yesterday was identical to the one they did almost two weeks ago and the nurse said that was a good sign.  She is breathing on her own however she is still unresponsive in every other way.  T
IUpdate  It is with a very heavy heart that I need to tell you that Marilyn passed away at 5:43 this morning. Temporallity
 plans have been made for this Sat @ 11:00 but that is subject to change.  I will update everything
