Rea's Story
Life
After I graduated from McNary, I went on to OCE and graduated with degree in Education: PE and Special Ed. I was offered a teaching position before I graduated and went right into teaching Elementary PE and Physical Therapy/Special Ed. in Molalla. I went on to work towards my Masters. I got married (36 yrs), I helped run our business for 20 of those years in the Portland/Metro area and am now Office Manager (since 2000) for a Landscaping comp. the Tigard/Tualatin area. Have 2 sons & 4 grand children. Currently living in Portland area. In my spare time, I lead a small women's bible study every Friday, & am active in my church. I enjoy reading Christian novels-Love Inspired mystery, crocheting and watching movies.
Movies and TV shows: Mystery/ Suspense and things with happy endings. Murder She Wrote, Once Upon a Time, things like that. Music: K-Love Radio

2023- well lots has happened. On April 1, 2000 I accepted a job a temp job as an office Manger/Bookkeeper for a landscaping company in Tualatin and am still there. So every April 1, we say that my boss's April fools joke is still here. In 2016 I bought a house in Woodburn Estates and am still there. Seriously thinking about retiring, but my boss is begging me not to, so down to part time to help me out. This getting older is not easy, but the good Lord helps keep me going. My youngest son Noah is living in Tigard with his lovely wife and 6 wonderful kids. My oldest son passed 4 years ago and lost my husband in 2013. For those of you who remembered my mom, she passed 2 years ago on her 86th birthday. My Dad, brother Brock & sister Karen all live in Calif.
I would love to hear from others if anyone is wanting to catch up and share stories of getting older.
