Rebecca's Story
Was it Jerry Garcia that sang "What a long, strange trip it's been? He got that right!
I worked in the graphic arts business for 30 years and left it to care for my husband when he became ill. When he passed away in Jan. 2007 I decided to kick back for awhile and smell the roses - I'm currently a floral designer. I live in the country, near Batavia, in a log home with my daughter and two dogs. Staying laid back and relaxed while watching my 401k and the equity in my home evaporate.

is 13 next month. Girls are harder, or perhaps my memory is poor.
I would love to hear from anyone who remembers me - or even thinks they might!
Fast forward 12 years. I’m retired after having returned to the packaging industry for a few years. Moved back to Anderson. We’ve weathered the pandemic and the locusts are upon us. My thirteen year old daughter is now 25 and my college son has graduated, married, and is the father of my two granddaughters. And I’ve lost yet another Anderson alumni husband to cancer. Yep, long strange trip indeed.
