My Kids
My nine-year-old daughter Meghan is quite accomplished, and I fear is becomiing a perfectionisht. She gets straight A's, is a purple belt in Karate, loves soccer, and just got her poem about her school published on the inside cover of her yearbook. She's also tender-hearted and kind. What more can you ask for?

ve a tough act to follow, but she has her own unique characteristics. Although her determinination and stubbornness can at times be irritating and strongly influenced our decision not to have a third child, they will serve her well when striving for her goals. Right now she is shy, but there is a streak of boldness about her and a great sense of humor. It's exciting to watch her develop.
My Job
I teach writing to ESL students at CSU, Sacramento. Although hours of grading papers is not my favorite activity, I enjoy meeting students from around the world and helping them with their English.
