Rebecca's Story
I went to PRCC and USM after high school. I gained a Bachelor's Degree in English with a minor in Sociology. I then had several jobs: 3 different law firms in Picayune, Poplarville, and in Slidell, LA where I served as Land Abstractor, Secretary, and Receptionist between the three firms. I also worked at a collection agency for a while but I hated it. I have now been working at the library in Slidell, LA for almost 6 years and could not be happier!
I felt lonely for a while and latched onto the first guy who showed any interest in me. His name was RJ. After we moved in together, I realized he was exactly what I was not looking for in a man. After three years, I left him and caught another guy on the rebound. He was a mistake too. I know God has someone wonderful set aside for me and eventually I will find him! I just have to be patient!
I accepted Christ as my personal Lord and Savior a long time ago and have since rededicated my life to Him. I still write novels and poetry but most of it goes to the glory of God now. e! It is free to all who want to read it! I am also on Facebook.
Right now, my ultimate goal is to find my soulmate, a loving and not abusive Christian man. (I've had the rest, now I want the best!) My other ultimate goal is to get my Master's Degree in Library Science. This way I can establish my total financial independence.
July 2009 was the happiest month of my life! I was reunited with my biological father and took a trip to where he lived: Lansing, Michigan! I am so overjoyed to be reunited with him! He means so much to me! I also discovered a family who I thought threw me away a long time ago but never did. I also gained a "second Mom" and "second and a third sister" as well as a brother in law, a niece, and a nephew that i never knew I had! I have so much family now that my heart is so full!

I still want to have a book published and I have sent in one manuscript so far and got the first of many rejections. It's okay though. When the time comes....
