After HS I went to San Jose State University starting as an Art Major and then transitioning to Radio, TV, Film with a photography minor. I took a semester off to have a foot operation on both feet - bunions removed! I went around for a couple weeks on my hands and knees - it was painful!! What a silly sight that was. During college I worked full-time in retail there in Pleasanton and the good ol Stoneridge Mall in what used to be Emporium-Capwells. I was a security detective, then sold make-up and then clothes. I did that mainly to pay for college and other expenses. I dreamed of working for MTV in NY but was in a serious relationship at the time of graduation, and NYC seemed a little daunting. So I stayed in the Bay Area and worked in video production for a little owner operated shop, got lots of good experience but then moved on to advertising sales in SF.
