Rebecca's Story
I currently live in Munich, Germany and am married to a Bavarian. The best way to describe Bavarians is to say that they are Germany's Texans. I have lived in Munich for the past 18 years and worked for the same large American IT company that I started working for right after graduating from Clemson University in Atlanta. I moved after 3 years and got rehired by the German subsidiary of that same company here.

d the opportunity to work in other cities in Europe - the most enticing was near Nice, France on the Cote d'Azur or perhaps Barcelona.
I have two children and yes - they speak English and German although German is their stronger language as that is what they learn in school. They have picked up more American slang that I would like by watching our Desperate Housewives DVDs.
Hobbies are currently a thing of the past (unless we count housework as a hobby) with work and keeping things afloat at home taking up a large part of my waking hours.
