Rebecca's Story
Life
i have been married to my husband kevin going on 26 years, we went to geneva IL for our 25th anniversary, after high school i was a carreer girl working different jobs, my favorite job was working for laidlaw bros in river forest, i stayed there 6 years but had to leave due to a serious illness i was a jack of all trades there working in the mailroom printroom and shipping room, i also did a little filing and xeroxing, after recovering from illness, i had a few other jobs one which included being a census taker in the 1980 census,i also did order picking and packing, i also was a codingclerk for a survey company, i also breifly ran a slitter machine that cut business cards at a printing company, i was fortunate early in my marriage to stay home with my husband, we did some traveling in the eighties no exotic places just disneylandin california mackinaw island wisconsin dells ann arbor michican and jackson mississipi, i now work at leyden family service part time in a work as therapy program for people with my type of illness, i sta...Expand for more
rted working there in the food pantry but graduated to a peer aid. we also have tried our hand at camping at devils lake wisconsin and in zion illinois at illinois state beach, i have ridden through the indianna dunes breifly, once a year my husband and me get up to paddock lake wisconsin and visit his family, a cottage has been in his family for years, once when i was single i went to a dude ranch in muskegon michigan, i also have visited my sister when i was single, she lved in the palo alto area in california, i really was glad i did the traveling when i was young and able to enjoy it because camping in my fifties was a little harder then i thought but i did enjoy camping, one job i lef out when i was single was working in a factory making bycyle pedals breifly, i now live in melrose park, i left elmwood park about nine years ago but still visit there often, i hope to some day get to hawaii and maybe the disneyworld in florida, what i enjoy doing now is takig walks and dining out with my husband and also hanging out with my freinds.
