Rebecca's Story
Spent Freshman year at Lodi High West Campus which is where 9th and 10th graders went, 11th and 12th attended East Campus which the following year became the two separate schools; West Campus stayed Lodi High and East Campus became the newly formed Tokay High. Unfortunately some friends that I would have graduated with stayed at Lodi High and sadly lost touch with them. But life went on, most of the friends I hung out with were Andrea, Anita, Joe and Lupe Villagomez, Lillian Hernandez, Maria Gutierrez, Dennis Jackson, Carmelo Teresi, Melody Frietas, Jeannie Decallete, Wayne Ogren. Attended Delta for one year and then got married. Sadly, didn't work out, but had a wonderful son who is now married and has a son of his own, Lucas. Moved to Los Angeles for 3 years in the late 80's after bartending for 4 years in Stockton at El Torito, The Village Pub and in Lodi at Cask and Cleaver and Angelina's. Came...Expand for more
back to Stockton in 1990, moved back to So Cal to Port Heuneme for a job opportunity and then returned here again in 2002. Have since married my soulmate who I adore and we just purchased a new home in Stockton! My younger brother and his wife just had a 3mo old and I am finally an aunt for the first time!
As far as what I remember from school; Mary and I would cut P.E., which was just before lunch so we would walk down to the cafe on Lodi Ave and order cheeseburgers and hang out for about an hour on some days, other days we would go to the hamburger stand, I can't for the life of me remember the name, but it was a great place and the guy that owned it was super cool! Anyone remember the name of that place on Lodi ave just down or next door to the drive thru dairy? They had the best french fries. Don't know if we will end up having a reunion this year, but hope to go and see some old classmates!
