Rebecca's Story
Life
After high school I met the father of my 3 kids and moved up to West Virginia to be closer to family. After 12 years together, we couldn't make it work. We separated in 2009. I met my current husband Glenn in 2010. We live in Maryland with our 5 kids (my 3 and his 2). I finished school and became a Registered Nurse in May 2012 and got married in September 2012. Life is good.
Workplace

t my nursing degree in May 2012 I was working at Meritus Medical center as a phlebotomist but now I work as the Assistant Director of Nursing at a state prison taking care of inmates all day. Who knew that the pay would be so much better at a prison than at a hospital. Still working towards my Bachelors and eventually Masters but happy with where I am right now. I just wish I would have done it sooner.
