Rebecca's Story
Life
I have a great family and that is what makes life worht living. I may not be where I thought I would have been 10 years ago but I'm in a good place. I'm not rich or live in a fancy hose but I have awesome friends, a wonderful husband and a son who is a true blessing...Who could ask for anything more.
School
School was a crazy time for me... my dad was in the Navy so we moved quite a bit... when he retired we move to Hastings,Ne and I swore I would leave the minute I graduated but 10 years later...I'm still here. I was in Band and hated it... didn't play the right note on purpose or just sat there pretending...I'm actually good but had and still have no interest. Other than that the only thing I really liked about school was the social aspect...mostly the boys....
Workplace
I work fo an Assisted Living facility as the Life Enrichment Director and it is the best job in the whole world. I get to g...Expand for more
o to work everyday and enjoy the company of my family ... my work family that is. Between the staff and the residents, I have so amny friends and it is truley a job that I should have to pay to do instead of being paid. God gave me a wonderful life and great people in it.
Military
I was a military BRAT.....a true brat yes indeed. I met lots of interesting men and women as well as other kids my own age. My dad retired when I was 16 and was in the service my whole childhood. He was a sea-bee and was gone alot the first 8 years while we lived in Port Hueneme California until we move to Fort Carson Co. in 88 then he was in charge of recruits. My favoite place was Naples Italy where we were stationed from 91-95 or until we moved again to NOrth Chicago where my dad retired. I'm pretty grateful I lived a life as I did...A rich and happy life full of friends and new experiences most will never have a chance to.
