Rebecca's Story
After graduating from South Park High in 1969, I attended Lamar for a year, then got married and moved to Virginia Beach, VA. From there, South Carolina, California, Guam, and Washington State. I lived in Washington State where I worked at the Trident Submarine Base and later for a CPA firm, a hotel chain, and the Port of Bellingham. I decided to make a career change and got my MA in political science from Western Washington University. teaching at a university for 16 years. I got remarried in 1995 and my husband is a TV director. We live on the Edo River overlooking Tokyo. I'm working on writing my second textbook right now. For fun, I like to travel, snorkle, jog, watch movies, eat out, and read. I'm planning to move back to the States in April 2010 to be near my daughter and grandson who live outside of Chicago. Life has been good to me and I'm looking forward to the next chapter which includes connecting with old friends and classmates from Texas.
