Interesting, I don't know that many people who really knew me but I was easy to get along with and I loved Gymnastics even though I wasn't a natural talent at it. I remember Ms. Garrett telling me she just didn't think I could do it so I worked my butt off to prove her wrong. I was kicked out of class my freshman year by Mr. Mason because I had a shirt with the American flag on it, he felt it was disrespectful and since my father had fought for our country I felt it my right to show I was proud of America. Well, that landed me in the office for the class period, Mr. Dillon and Mr. Davenport thought it was funny. I had been there about 10 minutes when he called to say I was ditching!! Mr. Dillon blew it off and let me read my book. I was in select choir because I loved music. I went to N.A.U. and roomed with Jeri Neilson for a semester, came back to Holbrook and took classes at N.P.C. but never graduated. Had a little girl so I went to work, got married, had another baby girl, got divorced. Chris passed at only age 40, it was sad for the girls but they always consided Victor to be Daddy because he was present every day. In 1981 I married Victor Beck and we had a Son in 1982 because he wanted to at least try for a little boy, thank goodness. Victor was hired to run a furniture store in Durango, Colorado and we happily moved away until about late 1989, recession + small town + big furniture store in Farmington = layoff, so we moved back to Arizona.
