Life
My Kids . . .
Jason, 43, is a dental hygienist by day and an electrician doing custom lighting by night in the SB area. Jessica, 41, is an "exec" for T-Mobile in Seattle. Katie, 28, is in Nuclear Engineering in the Navy in Norfolk, VA.
My Job
I taught high school English in Hemet, CA and coached the school's award-winning Academic Decathlon team, winning each year and continuing on into state level competition. I finally retired in 2017. Two years after retiring, I was rear-ended by a former student driving at 35 mph.

h because I didn't talk to many people. In reality, I was very, very shy (highly introverted!). Since then, I'm still a fairly quiet person, except when I was in front of my classes. My students would probably tell you that I never stop talking. . . Outside of school, I've enjoyed being a body builder (I could squat 305#!), and I was the only female on my roller hockey team back in my 30's. I ran competitively (cross country) up until about 20 years ago when my knees started to "go". Now I sport 2 "new" knees, I enjoy walking and bike riding. Unfortunately, no more running! The metal in my cervical spine along with two knee replacements has led friends to call me the bionic woman. . . .
