I had become an EMT for something to do while going to college for pre-med. I was told Colonie EMS was the best and I was living in Albany at the time; so I gave it a shot.
Goerge was a paramedic and assigned to be my preceptor. I fell in love at first sight. It took him a bit longer but here we are!

I had heard a fish tank helped. We have two goldfish named Ariel and Momma Ariel (named by my eldest). I am not sure how sucessful we will be with this as one fish and two snails have already punched in their tickets.
We are now in MA in the Boston area. We are expecting our fourth and final addition to the family in September. The fish are with my mother but she got even and gave the kids frogs...I haven't killed them...yet.
