Rebecca's Story
I married a service man who went to Howe in 1974. We had three children. We lived in Thailand and Massachuttes as a family. Unfortunately, the marriage did not work out and we divorced in 1978 when the kids were 2 1/2, 1 1/2 and 6 months old. I worked initially at Wassons, then DC Heath. At DC Health I worked and learned how to program software on an IBM mainframe and then a midrange Iseries/As400. I have been a software developer since the middle 1980's. I learned as I went with a class at Ivy Tech and a series of certifications from IBM.

ls in IT. I have worked as a developer several well know companies here in Indianapolis over the past 30 years. All of my kids have graduated HS, two have gone on to higher education and have degrees. One is pursuing an MBA and another her Bachelors in Business. I feel like I did a good job raising them. All three have gone on to marriages that they are happy in and have all had children.
I have 9 nine grandchildren that I love very much. As I type this I cannot believe how fast the years have flown and how good life, on the whole, has been to me.My profile photo shows me and my youngest.
