I was born in San Bernardino, Ca. on a Tues. Morning.....I grew up mainly in Barstow, Ca., and graduated in 1985 from BHS....I then worked at Bob's Big Boy for 2 years while attending Barstow Community College. married....and didn't get a degree.....I really miss waking up to the "Blues Brother's"--"Soul Man" courtesy my roommate, Susan, on Sunday Mornings!!!
I grew up with 2 Filipino step-sisters, and a step-mom with a love for cooking fish that smelled like dead cat! I was a "preppy" teen-ager and loved all things English and New Wave!!!--My claim to fame is my friend's dad, Judge Simmons--who took a van-load of us to see Howard Jones at the Greek Theatre a week before graduation....later he had a small part in "Erin Brokovich"--which won Julia Roberts an Oscar....I still say some of the funnest times of my life were with the kids in my youth group in Barstow...especially the Roadshows and Dances!!!--yes, Gary, I'm talkin to YOU!!!!!
I now live in Salt Lake after living in San Bernardino and Orange County back in the 90's--and later Grass Valley in the last few years. I've mostly worked as a cashier for 2 different companies....AM/PM--where I worked for my Filipino boss......and probably had the best time of my life!!--thanks for letting me take your mother-in-law to Disneyland for the afternoon!!!....
The other place was for my mom's Company--which I became an Assistant Manager in--how that happened, I seriously don't know!!!--NO, REALLY!!!!-------------NO!!!!!....YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND............
For now, I"m hoping to get back into school sometime in the next 2 years and pursue something in the Arts--like writing or basket-weaving!!!--or writing about basketweaving or basket-weavers...or basket-cases in general---an Autobiography perhaps?................................hello? is this thing on????? I guess that's it for now.....I need to get home and watch Chris Farley from and old SNL DVD.....I love the "Van Down By the River" motivational speech........and the Lunch-Lady-Land song.........I have to enjoy these moments while I can.....because when I'm busy being "IMPORTANT" again--I won't have "Time!!!!"".
