I've been married to Jim for 38 years with 2 sons (Eric-34, Darryl-30) and 4 beautiful granddaughters(Alix-6 yrs, Drew- 4 yrs, Paige-2 yr) and a new granddaughter, Brylee that was born on May 1,09. We live in northern Nevada in the Carson Valley for the last 6 1/2years. The spectacular view of the Sierra Nevada's are in our front and back yards. We moved from The Twin Cities area in Minnesota after living there for 25 years. Our 2 sons still live in Mn. After H.S. I went to Foothill College for almost 1 year and in March of '70 became engaged and went to work at Wells Fargo Bank until getting married in May'71. Jim was in the Navy stationed in Hawaii so after our wedding we moved to Oahu for his last 4 months. After Jim got out of the Navy we moved back to Ca and lived in Sunnyvale and Los Altos for 6 yrs. The summer of '77 we moved to Mn while visiting Jim's relatives plus he was offered a job that we couldn't refuse. Jim's profession was a mechanical engineer. I went back to school to become a cosmetologist when our youngest son was 2 yrs. I worked off and on as a hairstylist for several years. I also worked for the school district in food services, sold Avon and sold women's clothing giving presentations in private homes and worked a few other jobs while staying at home with our sons as much as I could.
