Sheila's Story

Life I graduated from Northeastern State Univ where I did pre-med. The medical school I attended was in Tulsa, "OSU College of Osteopathic Medicine Health Sciences Center", graduating in 1986, followed with an internship in OKC at St. Michaels Hospital. I was a single mom of 2 boys at the time, and in the middle of my internship year, into my ER at 2:00am walked a tall, dark, handsome, OKC Police Officer, and I decided to stay in OKC. I was elected to my medical associations board in the early 90's and elected President of that board in 2000. I was the first female ever to be President of the Oklahoma Osteopathic Association. le to personally set up & manage a medical clinic at the site. This clinic was open 24 hours a day for 17 days assisting the rescue workers with things like sore throats, tetanus shots, foreign bodies in their eyes, bronchitis, etc. I am also very politically active, since I live in OKC, which has opened numerous doors for me. I presently do Family Practice with an emphasis on "Female Hormone Control", and "Laser Cosmetic Surgery". My husband is Captain David Simpson, and I now have 3 boys, and one wonderful daughter-in-law. Looking back over the years, I am amazed what I have been able to accomplish, but it's only been with God's blessing that I could do any of this. I can't wait to see everyone!!!! Sheila
