Reginald's Story

Life has been quiet a journey for me. Seems like I raised three families and I've been asked if I wanted more kids. I've also had several job careers just as many of you have. Putting on different hats, like playing in a successful rock band (landed contract with Capital Records, Island Records, and a couple of other labels.), major concert promoter (Lionel Richie, Amy Grant, B.J. Thomas, K.C. and the Sunshine Band, B.B. King, etc), chef at a resort hotel, owned and managed a chain of restaurants, security guard lieutenant, housing construction superintendent for Monterrey Homes, College Professor, College Dean, High School Principal, Church Pastor and finally Acupuncture and Homeopathic Physician. I have traveled around world and seen Europe, Asia, Mexico City and the pyramids. I will probably be flying down to South America soon. Sounds like and feels like I have lived many lives. I always wanted to be a Healer when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a dream world idea. As it turns out, they were wrong. I was always a dreamer and wanted to be a "Healer or Doctor or architect" but at first the adults in my life thought I was being unrealistic and just a dreamer. des (straight A's) that it took to make it happen. But I was determined. This made me pursue other avenues of making a living, and they jobs were fun but I never seemed to stay in them for much but a few years. I am planning to go back to school to earned my seventh college degree (My third Doctorate). I haven't been skilled at handling my finances and am as broke as ever. But at least I have had the opportunity to try many things in life and live it as much as possible. Lately I have decided to simplify my live and scale down. I figure I have another good 40 years left in my life and and maintaining my health by hiking, mountain climbing, rock climbing, working out in the gym and being a martial arts instructor (3rd degree Black Belt in Judo). I see myself becoming a part time physician in a small country town and living on a few acres in a small home. Playing my guitar and writing songs by the fireplace or sitting on the porch with great friends and enjoying a a cold glass of ice tea during the daytime and having BQQ's on weekends with family while enjoying a beer or nice glass of wine. Traveling a bit like cruises would also be nice. Well there you go, my life in a nutshell. Hope to talk to you soon. Reggie
