Rendell's Story
Spent 8 years, 29 days, 3 or 4 hours (but who's counting) in the Army. Cavalry Scout (Recon), To many qualifications to mention, Wrote a job for the Army, and then they made me teach it. My Opinion? If you say Teach it real fast you can actually hear the word Sh it . I now envy Teachers (maybe not Mr. Rothengas. If anyone remembers the epic arguements.) It made me end my military Career. I would be retiring this year... Probably as a CSM... About $5K a month for waking up breathing. But I degress. I'm a combat vet, Desert storm, and I felt like I was letting people down for not being over there now. The story is kind of long so I'll paraphase, Divorced, remarried the world's best wife. 15 years may 12th. two great kids with my current. 3 with my last wife, one not biological but I still love her, one deceased, and one that is a great kid.
Now the part no one at Brodhead would have ever guessed. I'm a foriegn missionary. I go on mission to Guatemala every summer. This is what the Lord has called me to do. I am totally in love with my life, and all that it has become.
