Renee's Story
Have lived in Spring for about 20 years--
My husband died about a year ago---nothing will ever be the same---I miss him every day.
I have one daughter, Noelle and one step daughter, Jody---and they each have 1 daughter--I do have a beautiful family
Am a Graphic Designer---have had my own company for about 11 years--run my company out of my house in a room made into an office---have been very lucky--it seems to work for me! I stay busy all the time.

I have 5 inspirational women heroes (all women over 70) that I love and admire and are an inspiration to me always --
1) Sylvia Kelsey---my friend Susan's mom (deceased)-- she was so positive--always and never gave up--and a great dramatic inspiration!
2) Evelyn Barley--my aunt, my Daddy's brother's wife--she is so strong in the face of physical pain and still works me under the table even at age 87!
3) Beverly Denton-my mother in law --she is so gentle and kind and defies her age--and has always been so good to me.
4) Bobbie Nelson--my newly discovered aunt --She still travels in my Dad's band on the bus as his piano player---still in show business and famous, with long hair, cool clothes and good makeup at 77! I love it!!
5) Rosalee Erickson--Frances Erickson's mom --she is so precious to me and is so young at heart---and defies her age too--and she is always ready to go have some fun--- AND

hero--my brother, Kevan--he has made so much out of his life, all the while sticking with his strong convictions and I am so proud of him and his beautiful family!

My current age is 55. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be useless. I was so completely clueless!.

I have two oldest close friends--since 4th grade and 7th grade--Frances Erickson and Janice Teel---I love them so much and still remain close with both--

How do I hope old friends remember me? well, I hope they will think I was funny and fun and nice to be around---

What is the wildest thing I ever did in school? I think it was going to Miller outdoor theater at the zoo in the middle of the night and letting some guy talk me into climbing up on the roof of it all the way out to the point! It was so cool, but so dangerous! my mom would have killed me!

My biggest surprise? discovering that I have this really wonderful new family addition and that they welcomed me so lovingly!

My weirdest job? was being a makeup girl in Joske's at Northline Mall and wearing a peper dress--or being a hair model and getting all kinds of weird colors put on my hair---
